NFT Art

Each of the 1,200 NFTs created were randomly generated from hundreds of design layers I created and managed.

I started by zooming out first to make sure I understood the entire process of creating a shoe NFT.

Here were 2 examples I ran through —>

Chandler and I then started compiling iconic shoes and breaking them apart by their characteristics and mashing them up to create fresh designs.

We took our favorite 8 silhouettes (after making sure we wouldn’t infringe on any copyrights) and I traced their different attributes on separate layers.

When putting all the layers together, they looked like this —>

I then started developing each of the 8 silhouettes further with more layers, adding on colors, pedestals, accessories, backgrounds, etc.

Here’s a few examples of the randomly-generated, sold out collection on “OpenSea,” the marketplace where people buy/sell our NFTs. —>

And because we partnered with 3 young but extremely talented sneaker customizers, we were able to physically produce our NFT shoes for customers!

Other Media Content

A big part of our NFT collection was the way we marketed TASL to the shoe community and tried to build hype for our product. Below are some assets/designs I designed to achieve this:

2D animation hype video
Taking our stagnant shoe NFTs and giving them life, allowing the viewer to think “what would this look like on my own feet?” If the video isn’t playing, you can watch it here.

Collaboration Pitch
Attempting to get another NFT collection to collaborate with us, I mocked up what our shoe silhouettes with their geometrical style would look like. Allow potential partnerships to truly see what doing business together would look like!

TASL Logo
With younger sneakerheads as our main demographic, I created a fun and vibrant logo while keeping in mind it would need to be simple enough for brand recognition on social media and future merchandise.
